Recipe: Homemade Granola

We love the meals which are easily cooked, fresh, healthy and look good without tedious preparation. This recipe of this homemade granola is one of them. It is so easy to cook that you can ask the loved ones of yours to help you even if they are far from being kitchen experts.  

This recipe was kindly prepared and shared with us by Anna Pisareva. Anna is an amazing stylist, photographer and blogger at @annapisareva who lives with her family in Madrid. In her blog, she tells us about the treasures of the Spanish capital, its hidden and cozy corners and beauties.

DIRECTIONS

 

Preheat oven to 180 C. In a large bowl combine oats, almonds, walnuts. Pour oil and honey mixture over the dry ingredients and stir very well to coat. Place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes; remove from the oven and stir. Place back in the oven but remove and stir every 5 minutes or so until the oats are golden brown (approx. 20-25 minutes). When it is ready, add dried apricots and mix well.

Ingredients:

 

2 cups rolled oats (not instant)

1 cup raw almonds and walnuts, chopped

1/4 cup liquid honey 

2-3 tbsp. ghee, butter or coconut oil

½ teaspoon ground cardamom

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ cup dried apricots, chopped
